This year the “Macmillan Cancer Support Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning” has a new key corporate partner, Forster Dean Limited, which has the largest legal presence in the UK high street, with 29 offices across the North West and West Midlands.  The firm is simultaneously hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning in the majority of its offices on the 27th September, a unique venture for both Macmillan and Forster Dean.

Macmillan Cancer Support has been voted the Number 1 Charity Brand in the UK, and with Forster Dean receiving numerous awards for its service to the community it makes perfect sense for the UK’s largest high street legal firm to play a part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.  “We’re proud to be a leading brand in the UK, and proud to be partnered with other leading brands, working together so no one faces cancer alone” says Gillian Wilson, Macmillan’s joint  Fundraising Manager for Merseyside, West Lancs, Halton and Warrington.

Stuart Hill, Solicitor and office manager at the Widnes branch says ‘Here in the Albert Road office of Forster Dean in Widnes, we are really excited to be taking part in such a worthwhile event. We have already had an FA Cup Sweepstake and a staff member taking part in a 5k run to raise funds.  The work which Macmillan does literally changes people’s lives and we hope to raise both money and awareness to help such a wonderful cause. Our coffee morning is on the 27th September 2013 between 10am and 2pm. Everyone is welcome.’

Forster Dean specialises in Conveyancing, Personal Injury and Industrial Disease claims, Wills  & Probate and PPI claims, but we’re not all about suits and legal speak, we’re proud of being different.  We’ve dressed up for Comic Relief, got fund-raising dogs, and had an office road trip with a staff member dress up as Muggy, Macmillan’s coffee morning mascot.

Come along to any of these Forster Dean offices on 27th September, meet our friendly staff for a coffee, cake or raffle ticket, with of course a donation to Macmillan to help them continue with  their incredibly valuable work.
