Ann McGee

Ann McGee is a Graduate Member of CILEX and has worked in the Personal Injury sector since 1990. For 21 years Ann worked in a firm who represented trade union members and specialised in accidents at work.

Ann has spent the last 10 years undertaking employers liability and public liability work taking cases from the initial instructions to trial. These have included cases ranging in value from £1000 to up to £2 million. Ann’s most notable cases include an action where the defendant altered work equipment and then suggested that the Claimant had lied about the accident circumstances, which was won following a 2 day trial; to recently settling a case where the allegations of contributory negligence suggested that the claimant was more to blame for his accident than the defendant and fought hard to successfully prove the claimants case.

Ann recognizes that clients injuries can range from the transient to catastrophic but no matter the value of the case, strives to ensure that client care is central to her ethos.

Outside of work Ann is kept busy by a teenage daughter’s social life and loves to read whenever she has 5 minutes to herself.
