Yesterday, Head of Motoring Law, Alison Ashworth paid a visit to Buckshaw Trinity Primary School in Chorley to teach children about road safety.  The trip represented the final leg of our road safety campaign which began late last year in a bid to encourage all road users to watch out for each other.

Subjects on the menu were using our senses to work out where danger might be coming from, finding a safe place to cross, remembering to wear seatbelts, not distracting the driver and empowering children to remind motorists of “naughty” things which might take their attention off the road, such as using a mobile phone whilst driving and speeding.
